My Twin Care - A Hug in your pocket 🤗

TL;DR 👶👶

MyTwinCare is a stress-reducing, AI-powered health companion app designed for modern twin parents navigating chaotic moments, medical worries, and double the everything.

My Role: UX Researcher, Designer, Product Strategist (and Mom of Twins!)

Tools: Figma, Lovable, Notion, Google Docs, HotJar

Scope: Solo UX case study from ideation to MVP prototype, including user interviews, wireframes, testing, and business strategy.

Problem: Double the Chaos, Half the Help 😰

Being a parent is overwhelming — being a twin parent is next level.

Feeding, soothing, medicating, tracking — everything is doubled. And yet, most baby apps still assume you’ve only got one baby. They fall short when:

  • Both kids are sick (with different things), and you can’t remember who took what medicine and when...

  • Google gives you generic advice, and apps offer even less...

  • WhatsApp chats and scribbled notes just don’t cut it anymore — and you can’t exactly be cut into halves, thirds, or quarters to keep up with your babies’ needs…

That’s where My Twin Care steps in.

This app was born in the trenches of real-life, 3D (diaper-duty-driven) parenting — and from a heartfelt conversation with another twin dad at the park. He described a moment of panic, juggling two sick babies, and just wishing for clear, judgment-free answers.

That’s when it clicked: This isn’t just a tool. It’s a steady, supportive presence for every twist and turn of twinninghood.

Solution: Designing MyTwinCare, a Health-Tech Hug 💡

MyTwinCare is a stress-reducing, AI-powered mobile companion for twin parents—built to support you during urgent, chaotic, and emotional parenting moments.

Rather than just tracking feeding times or naps, MyTwinCare helps:

✅ Log medication for each child (individually, clearly)

✅ Offer emergency health guidance using AI

✅ Act as a real-time parenting partner—not a task list

We built this app with empathy, science-backed UX, and real-life insights from the twin parenting trenches.
Our goal? To be there when Google and basic baby tracker apps fall short.

Moat, Market, and Mission 💼

After interviewing for a health-tech role, I first encountered the term “moat.” It sparked a deeper dive into how this app could thrive beyond just UX. I researched competitors, mapped market gaps, and shaped MyTwinCare into a defensible, meaningful solution.

Why MyTwinCare Stand Out:

  1. Twin-Focused Intelligence: Context-aware AI built specifically for parenting multiples

  2. Emotional UX: Designed for automatic-mode twin and single parents and their day-to-day needs

  3. Inclusive Design: From bilingual support to future features for deaf & visually impaired parents

  4. Business Potential: Partner-ready for clinics, pediatricians, and health orgs

Our moat is clear: we combine emotional insight + niche intelligence + real market need.

What’s Next on the Roadmap 🔮

User Testing Phase 2:

  • Recruit 10 paediatricians to test our IA and features

  • Observe pain points and feature engagement via HotJar

Upcoming Improvements:

  • Enhance accessibility for visually impaired and deaf parents with research-backed features

  • Comply with privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR) with secure data handling

  • Refine onboarding to reduce friction for sleep-deprived users

  • Optimize AI suggestions for smarter, more accurate support

Parenting isn’t one-size-fits-all—and this app won’t be either.

What I Learned 🧠

♥️ Designing for parents in survival mode = simplifying like never before
🧠 Emotional UX > clever features
👨‍👧 Talking to real parents in parks > abstract personas
💡 A UX'er listens, adapts, and feels deeply with users
📊 A strategist also zooms out to spot the market moat
🤖 And I loved leveraging AI in Lovable — building a product from head to toe, sharing it with users, and testing it in the wild with tools like Hotjar

This project made me fall in love with health-tech, niche problem-solving, and the power of emotional design. It stretched me — from parenting chaos to product clarity.
